Young Adult Camping Trip

April 19-21

New North Young Adults are going CAMPING! We hope you’ll be able to join us on our camping retreat Friday, April 19 through Sunday April 21 at Pinnacles National Park. This will be a time to connect and create a space where we can worship together. Help One Child hosts this monthly support group for foster, adoptive, and kinship dads to connect with one another over coffee and donuts! They meet every third Saturday of the month at our New North SF campus (777 Brotherhood Way) from 9-11am.

Next Steps is our New North 101. In this course, you learn about who we are as a church, who you are as an individual, and how God is calling you deeper in your relationship with him and his people. We will be meeting for three consecutive weeks over zoom from 4-5:30p, starting on Sunday, April 21st and ending on Sunday, May 5th. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you navigate this next step of your faith!‍

Mobilize Love x Belle Air After School Program

Every Tuesday Starting on March 12

Our church has the privilege of serving alongside Mobilize Love to care for Belle Air Elementary in San Bruno again through their “Mobile After-School Program." This program will run weekly on Tuesdays from 2:30- 5:00pm starting on March 12. Mobilize Love needs volunteers who can help cook, prep and distribute meals, tutor and read with kids, perform reading assessment tests, engage kids in the Stage Truck rally, and share social-emotional skills with kids. Volunteers can choose specific activities to participate in and there is schedule flexibility based on your selected activity. To get involved, contact Missy Hall at missyh@newnorth.church.

Hope For the Journey Conference

May 3-4

Hope for the Journey Conference brings together proven, practical teaching and insight as well as everyday, hopeful wisdom for those who are meeting the needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care, such as parents/caregivers, teachers, and youth/children’s ministry volunteers. Through this conference, you will gain a better understanding of their complex needs along with resources to equip you as you come alongside them. Hope for the Journey Conference will include five pre-recorded video sessions based on the foundational principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) along with real stories featuring adult adoptees as well as adoptive and foster families. Hosted at New North in San Francisco on May 3-4, you can expect to be welcomed with warm hospitality, and professional staff that embarrasses TBRI practices. Dinner will be provided on Friday night, as well as continental breakfast items, and lunch on Saturday. Both days will include water, tea, and coffee. Registration is $199 but Help One Child is providing this conference for New North Families for FREE by using the scholarship code: HFTJNN2024. See the conference schedule and register below.
