Bay Area School of Ministry is coming to New North! We're excited to launch BASOM classes right here in San Francisco, making biblical classes and theological training more accessible to our church and community! Our first class, Biblical Interpretation, will equip you to read, interpret, and apply Scripture faithfully.
Course Description: Together, we'll explore the Bible's different genres: including narrative, poetry, prophecy, wisdom literature, the Gospels, and parables, and learn how to understand each passage according to the author's original intent while applying God's Word to our lives today. Whether you're new to studying the Bible or looking to go deeper, this class is open to everyone and is a great next step in growing your understanding of Scripture.
Day/Times: Monday Nights, 7-9pm; September 14 - November 16
Location: New North Church, 777 Brotherhood Way

Fall 2026
Our church has the privilege of serving alongside Mobilize Love to care for Belle Air Elementary in San Bruno again through their “Mobile After-School Program." This program will run weekly on Tuesdays from 2:30-5:30pm (Dates still being determined). Mobilize Love needs volunteers who can help cook, prep and distribute meals, tutor and read with kids, perform reading assessment tests, engage kids in the Stage Truck rally, and share social-emotional skills with kids. First Thursdays is a monthly gathering for young adults in their 20s and 30s who want to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus through studying the Bible and being rooted in authentic community, worship, and prayer. Together we'll journey through the book of Philippians, learning what it means to follow Christ with joy, humility, and purpose in the midst of everyday life. Whether you've been studying the Bible for years or you're opening it for the very first time, there's a place for you here. Come ready to ask questions, grow in your faith, and build meaningful friendships with other young adults pursuing Jesus!
