October 3
Join us for an insightful evening with Ron Sanders, the author of After the Election: Prophetic Politics in a Post-Secular Age. This engaging seminar will take place on Thursday, October 3 at 6 PM at our SF Campus (777 Brotherhood Way) The church's role in American public life is often a subject of debate. Ron Sanders will explore the historical involvement of Christians in politics and discuss why democracy benefits from Christian engagement. He'll also delve into how Christians can embody God's wisdom in a diverse, pluralistic society. This is a crucial conversation that every believer in the church should be prepared to engage in.
About the Speaker:
Ron Sanders is an Affiliate Faculty member in Christian Ethics at Fuller Seminary, where he teaches courses on Christian ethics, faith and politics, and biblical and practical peacemaking. With over 20 years of experience as a campus minister with CRU at Stanford University, Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this important topic. Thank you for loving and ministering to kids of all ages. Come to the church fellowship hall, eat some good food and connect with others in the same field.
Every Sunday In August
God did not create us to follow Jesus alone. Here at New North our vision is to be a multiplying authentic community of Jesus followers that loves and serves people and one of the best ways that we seek to accomplish that vision is through being regularly committed to a group of other Christians who we can love, serve, and learn from. Every Sunday in August, join us after service for our ministry fair to learn more about all our midweek groups and find authentic relationships that will help you grow deeper in your faith.
