Our Global and Local Outreach (GLO) partners are ministries and individuals all over the world that we strategically support in their endeavors for Jesus. We choose our partners carefully based on 3 specific aims (UUPGS, Gospel Driven Justice & Revival in the SF Bay Area) because we believe that Jesus is the hope of the world and we want all people, everywhere to have the opportunity to know Him. UUPGs are populations where less than 1% of people have had access to any Christians and they have no church planting movement or strategy. These are the groups of people who have never even heard that Jesus existed, let alone had an opportunity to know Him. We hope to be a part of spurring on indigenous church movements that do not require Western missionaries, but rather utilize committed locals who understand the culture and language to see the Gospel spread.
We care deeply about justice because God does. We partner with people who are meeting a need in the global community for the purpose of sharing the love of Jesus. Additionally, we hope to be able to send our New North congregants to participate in these endeavors when they can.
Through our giving and support of local partners, we hope our congregation can be actively involved in a wide variety of ministries here, in our own backyard. Our church is full of people with different passions and gift sets, and there are dozens of opportunities for us to use those passions right where we are for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
Mobilize Love reaches underprivileged children, youth, and families throughout San Francisco. Their fleet of outreach trucks provide a sidewalk after-school program for kids, meals for the community, laundry services, hair cuts, foot washings, nail services, and other health services.
Through these trucks, Mobilize Love is not only providing basic needs, but also restoring dignity, delivering good news, and showing God’s love to neighbors. Their programs include City Kids weekly outreaches, sending trained volunteers to follow up with families who need additional support, a 9 month mentorship relationship through their Mobilize Love Mentorship Program, and hosting their monthly Cityteam x Mobilize Love Community Outreach serving SOMA residents and the homeless.

Ariel or AJ has been working with Young Life in various ways for several years. She moved to the Bay area/Peninsula and began to get to work and is now working in San Francisco. She has been active with high schoolers at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology. AJ’s love for God is poured into the students in creative and fun ways.

Danny has joined Young Life in the last year and is currently working with students in southeast San Francisco ‘s Outer Mission. He is working with both middle schoolers at Bayshore Middle School and high schoolers in the same neighborhood. Danny has a passion to reach his students for Christ while they are young.

We have a strong belief and desire to see the city of San Francisco transformed by impacting the Tenderloin District and we do that by serving the immediate needs of the community in these areas: Poverty, Hunger, Urban Children and Community Outreach.
