Jesus did not shy away from teaching about a lifestyle of generosity. In fact, He spoke of money more than any other subject.

We have a wonderful tradition of giving away the entirety of our Christmas Eve Offering to a global and local organization or initiative. This year, we are supporting both Young Life in San Francisco and Young Life in Armenia. Watch the video below to learn more.

We have a wonderful tradition of giving away the entirety of our
Christmas Eve offering to a global & local initiative. Here’s the
initiatives we’re supporting this year.
Church Plant in Ethiopia with Compassion International
Since 2010, Compassion has planted a total of 294 churches worldwide. Their church planting strategy includes working with an established local “mother” church to plant a permanent “daughter” church in a new, nearby community where they already have a ministry presence.
We are excited to work in Ethiopia because there is not only a huge need there, but we want to do more gospel work in Africa. The investment needed to plant a church is $75,000 and includes building the basic church facilities such as classrooms, restrooms, electricity and plumbing. This church plant will include an initial registration of approximately 200 children who we’ll get to sponsor in the future.

Minister Housing Assistance Fund
As you all know; we live in a very expensive area which makes it difficult to recruit and retain great staff. Some of our pastors have been evicted due to the difficult housing situations in our area. Many churches in the Bay Area have various ways to assist their ministry professionals with long term housing resources. To better address this huge need, a group of elders and deacons are developing a plan to meet this need.
Our goal will be to help our ministry professionals have more housing stability, become better stewards and to give them deeper roots in the community and ultimately help them towards retirement. A portion of our Christmas Eve offering will establish a housing assistance fund to meet these needs.
