Previously part of an international study group focused on child growth and development in Reggio Emilia, Italy in 2010, and a classroom teacher in San Francisco for 10 years, Sam is absolutely in his element here at New North. He has a desire to teach and mentor children with patience and an accepting heart while igniting within them a desire to have a genuine relationship with Jesus. Sam is known for his love for God and his family and for his pride in being a great papa.

Tim brings excellence, innovation, and immense depth to our worship and creative arts ministry. Tim has a great sense of humor and is highly creative and industrious. When he isn’t leading worship or creating music, you can find Tim on the beaches of Florida or Hawaii (literally and/or figuratively!).

He hails from Baltimore, Maryland and moved to the Bay Area in August of 2018 after teaching English in mainland China for four years. Scott has an insatiable desire to learn about different cultures and languages, and simply enjoys getting to know anyone who comes from a different background, with the hope of sharing the good news of Jesus with them. His favorite thing to do is to travel to new states, cities, and countries trying new cuisines with his wife, best friend, and traveling partner, Ariel.

A Hayward native, he worked as a youth pastor and campus pastor in Las Vegas before returning to the Bay Area several years ago. He is our primary communicator to the church body, sharing the vision and engaging with people from all backgrounds to genuinely get to know them. He almost never forgets a face or name! Rob is a self-proclaimed coffee snob and an avid admirer of the 1965 Ford Mustang. He is an adventurous bibliomaniac who loves his family, his church, and his Jesus.

She is not-so-secretly in love with baking without a recipe or measuring cups and, one day, she plans to try her skills on a wedding cake. Even though she hates avocados and mayo, she is a typical Bay Area coffee snob and can’t go about her day without a good cup o’ joe. She loves God’s Word and desires to teach it well. She becomes obnoxiously excited when she learns new things about the Lord and His people!

Her background in TV news serves her well when it comes to telling stories of how Jesus has worked in the lives of our church and keeping you updated through our website, newsletters, and Sunday services. As a SF native, Lauren loves ranking cafes for the best croissants and coffee. When she's not baking bread, you can find her climbing rocks with her community group!

This San Francisco native is married to her husband TIm and is a mom of four, plus one spunky pup! When she's not exploring new places and restaurants, she loves reading, writing and random trivia. She cannot live without coffee, tacos, colorful pens and cozy sweaters!

She oversees HR, Operations, and Finances. Crystal hails from the Central Valley and loves reading, coffee, hiking, and visiting museums! Her favorite is the Legion Of Honor in San Francisco!

Missy has a big heart for people and animals. In her free time, you can find her on the beach reading or walking her two adorable pups! Ask her about her photo collection of cute animals and you won't be disappointed!

He is an SF native who is passionate about video editing. He was a vital team member in capturing + editing church online during the pandemic, so we are thrilled to have him join our team! When Dennis isn't editing videos you can catch him enjoying meals or climbing with friends!

Kevin has served in the United States Air Force for 20+ years and is excited to transition into vocational ministry. He is passionate about building relationships and loves watching Jesus transform lives. In his spare time, he picks up toys, looks for lost legos, and dodges nerf bullets from his three young kids.

For the past 20+ years, Hilda has been a full-time mom of two boys. Before embracing motherhood full-time, she worked as an auditor for an insurance company for over 13 years. She's loved being a stay-at-home mom because it involved volunteering with her children’s school community, and working on various initiatives, from coordinating school events, dances, and field trips to ensuring a smooth graduation ceremony and parent meetings. In addition to her commitment to family and community, she also enjoys studying the healing power of food and the impact food choices can have on our bodies and minds. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, going on leisurely walks with friends, and visiting charming tea rooms. Whether it’s a casual outing with friends or a special occasion celebration, the elegance of high tea never fails to enchant her.

From ushering on Sundays to helping with facilities, Donna helps with it all! When she's not working, you'll find her walking her two dogs, reading or getting coffee!

Jeremy is a pastor’s kid, born and raised in a Christian home. He's originally from Chicago and Phoenix and has since lived in Sydney, Australia, NYC, Jerusalem and Southern California. Him and his wife, Simone are both passionate about leading young people to Jesus, helping them grow in Him and guiding them into a life of service for Him in and through His Church. He's a voracious reader - from biblical studies, theology & church history to classics and children’s literature to geopolitics and history - He loves to learn! He also enjoys sports, walks with his wife and traveling!

She is passionate about leading others into the presence of God with influence in Spanish and English ministry environments, both regionally and internationally. Her deep love for the church and commitment to the Great Commission drive her belief that worshippers pave the way in fulfilling God’s mission. Known for her caring and nurturing spirit, Leann pours her heart into her ministry and her family. She is a proud mom of two beautiful daughters and two beloved dogs. Outside of church, Leann enjoys cooking, hairstyling, and creating beautiful memories with her girls.
