Dr. Mark Mitchell's Bay Area School of Ministry is hosting a summer class on Christian Leadership that's open to everyone. The class will meet on Mondays, June 16-August 25 from 7:00-9:00pm in Redwood City, CA. See more details below.
Course Description: When Jesus spoke to his disciples about leadership, he used four extremely important words: “not so among you.” (Matthew 20:26-28) He was contrasting the way leadership happens in the world with how his disciples would lead in the work he was sending them to do. In this class, we will explore how and why Christian leadership is different. We will explore the character, vision, skills, and challenges of Christian leaders through bible study, reading and discussion.
Instructors: Dr. Mark Mitchell and several ministry leaders around the Bay Area as guest speakers.
Textbooks (provided in cost of class) : Leadership Essentials, by Greg Ogden
