This Sermon series looks at the four songs recorded in the first two chapters of Luke’s Gospel. All four songs point to the character of God and how he has been faithful in keeping his promises. There are also hints that those promises were never just for the nation of Israel, but for all people. This Christmas, people will more than likely be looking for something to infuse their season with hope and something beyond what we can see. These songs can point our eyes heavenward toward the God who sees us in our distress and acts on our behalf.
