Impact Note from Rob

Note from Pastor Rob

Dear New North Family,

What an incredible year we have shared together! As I look back, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your generosity, faithfulness, and partnership in the gospel. Because of you, we have seen God do more than we could ask or imagine.

This past year, among so many other great things, we hosted the Pray the Bay Conference, gathered our community through Now More Than Ever Neighborhood Parties, and experienced life-changing moments throughout our midweek ministries and events. Our Easter and Christmas services were the largest and most impactful in our history, and we continue to baptize more people than ever before. Our kids, students, and young adult ministries continue to thrive and reach the next generation. We also welcomed new staff members: Leann Castaneda (Worship), Kevin Centinaje (Students), and Annabella Sills (Pastoral Resident) and celebrated the completion of phase-one of our sanctuary renovation. Whew!

Now, as we look ahead, we step into a new season with great expectation. This year is our Year of Prayer, a year to seek God like never before, to align our hearts with His, and to see His kingdom come in our lives, our church, and our city. Our theme verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Church family, thank you for standing with us. Thank you for giving, serving, inviting, and praying. The impact we’ve seen this year is because of your faithfulness and God’s power at work among us. I believe the best is still to come, and I can’t wait to see what God will do in and through us in this Year of Prayer.

Grace upon grace,

Rob Hall
Lead Pastor, New North Church
