Starting the Year with Gratitude & Vision

As we gather for church at home this Sunday, we get the chance to slow down, rest, and remember God’s goodness. One of the most meaningful ways we can respond to His faithfulness is through generosity.
King David once prayed in 1 Chronicles 29:14:
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”
King David spoke these words as God’s people gave joyfully toward building the temple. What a beautiful reminder that every gift we give is really just placing back into God’s hands what He has already given us. Giving isn’t about pressure; it’s about gratitude. It’s about saying, “Lord, thank You for all You’ve done this past year, and I trust You with what’s ahead.”
So as we close out 2025 and step into 2026, we invite you to make your final gift of this year as a first fruits offering for the new one. This isn’t just about funding our church ministry, it’s about beginning the year with open hands, open hearts, and a renewed trust in God’s provision.
Maybe that looks like setting up recurring giving, making a one-time year-end gift, or simply pausing as a family to pray, “God, how do You want us to live generously this year?” However you participate, your generosity helps our church continue pointing people to Jesus, serving our community, and living out His mission in the Bay Area and beyond.
