How to Pray For Encouragement

This Sunday, Pastor Scott led us through Paul’s prayer in 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 and reminded us that God is the source of “eternal encouragement and good hope.” When life feels overwhelming, it’s natural to pray for our circumstances to change. Yet Paul points us to a deeper prayer—that God would encourage our hearts and strengthen us to keep following Him faithfully. As we receive the loving encouragement of our Heavenly Father, He gives us the courage to persevere, do good, and boldly live for Him even when life is hard.
