Through Nehemiah’s prayer, we can learn movements of a prayer life interceding for the people of God to a loving and faithful God Who Hears.

- Describe a time you wept, mourned or lamented in the presence of God.
Reflect on the Passage: Read Nehemiah 1 together.
- What stood out to you from Sunday’s message/ the passage?
- Rachael Wade shared about standing in the gap and starting with Feeling your Feelings. Read Psalm 56:8. What comfort have you found in Jesus?
- Next, in the passage, comes confession and fasting. Read James 5:16 What would it look like for you to practice this together within community?
- Finally, we see he is a servant who delights in revering God’s name. How can you do this daily?

Group Prayer Time
- Reach Ephesians 6:18. Take 3 minutes to all pray silently asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how to pray for those in your circle. Then, take 3 minutes to all pray at the same time aloud for one another. Close with the Lord’s prayer or the Apostles Creed.
