Herod had James killed and put Peter in prison to await execution, so the church gathered at Mary's house to pray. After God's miraculous deliverance of Peter from the prison, the only one who had enough faith to believe that Peter had returned to the house was a servant girl named Rhoda. We learn that God can use our specific, continuous, earnest, and corporate prayers to accomplish His will in mighty ways.
