Receive With Joy

Why would God announce the birth of Jesus to shepherds first? In many ways, they represent us. Like the shepherds, we can feel overlooked or like outsiders, yet joy often meets us when we least expect it. God chose to reveal the birth of Jesus to the shepherds to show His love for all people and to proclaim that His joy is for everyone.

This Christmas season, we’re invited to receive that same joy: make room for Jesus, embrace the good news, share His joy with others, and ask God to fill you with joy anew!
