2nd & 4th Sundays
At New North, we believe God has called us to be a church that loves our city with the compassion of Christ. Tenderloin Connect is one of the ways we live that out. In partnership with YWAM San Francisco, we serve in the heart of the Tenderloin by building meaningful, long-term relationships with residents living in SROs (single-room occupancy housing). Rather than simply dropping off supplies or hosting an event, we go in small teams to spend time listening, encouraging, praying, and sharing life with the same residents over time. These consistent visits create opportunities to connect people with local services and support, build genuine friendships and community, and share the hope of the Gospel with those who are often overlooked or living through difficult circumstances. Whether you've never served in the Tenderloin or have years of ministry experience, we'd love for you to join us. No special skills are required, just a heart to listen, love, and be present. You'll serve alongside other New North volunteers and be part of a ministry that is making a lasting difference, one relationship at a time.
