Arman & Lilit Asatryan

Affiliation: Young Life Armenia and the Former Soviet Union

Arman and Lilit grew up in Armenia during the Fall of the Soviet Union. Through Young Life, they are bringing the love and hope of Jesus to the youth of Armenia, including those on the streets, as well as in orphanages and schools in remote villages.

Arman and Lilit provide a space for kids to hear the Gospel, study the Bible, ask questions, and grow in their faith. They also work to give kids from all around the former Soviet Union the life-changing opportunity to attend Young Life Camp in Armenia. Through all of this, Arman and Lilit are hopeful to make followers of Jesus and raise up the next generation of leaders.

Fred & Anastassia Naff

Affiliation: Greater Europe Missions, Greece

Fred and Anastassia work in Greece. Anastassia is a pharmacist in the town she and Fred live in, giving her the opportunity to talk about “the medicine that never runs out and has no side effects” — Jesus.

Fred is an architect for a business that is part of Greater Europe Missions. He does architectural design and consulting for evangelical churches, camps, Bible schools, seminaries, and other ministries in Europe. He also coordinates the work of outside consultants in Europe and the United States who donate their time to help with architectural and structural design and other related work. In recent years, he has helped build and set up Syrian refugee camps.

Roy & Bonita Thompson

Affiliation: Home of New Beginnings, Thailand

Roy and Bonita’s ministry focus is Southeast Asia. Bonita, a former educator in the U.S. for 35 years, founded the Home of New Beginnings in Bangkok and another in Pattaya.

They welcome young girls and women who have been involved in sex tourism and trafficking and provide them with physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational support to get them out of sex slavery. The Home of New Beginnings creates a nurturing, family-like environment to help women heal, grow, and find hope for their futures. Their basic needs are provided for, and they are encouraged to grow in vulnerability, humility, forgiveness, and spiritual transformation. Women are also taught life skills, computer skills, vocational training, and high school and university education.

Darryl Smithgall

Affiliation: Footsteps Missions, Honduras

Darryl started Footsteps Missions in 1999 to help train, encourage, and equip people to serve those in need around the world. The organization's goal is to help churches, organizations, schools, and individuals meet the needs of hurting people, while sharing the Gospel.

Darryl has implemented “Just One Backpack” to give children in Honduras all of the required school supplies they need, as most families cannot afford them. He also oversees an orphanage that the Honduran government entrusted to him named “The Garden of Love and Hope”, where basic needs are met and children learn about the love of Jesus.

Vince & Cathy Costa

Vince and Cathy have ministered in Italy since 1975, discipling the next generation of Christian leaders, and planting churches in order to spread the Gospel in key, unreached cities in Italy and its surrounding areas.

Vince visits Europe every few months for many weeks at a time and mentors the teams in Italy while he is in the U.S. Together, Vince and Cathy’s vision is to foster the planting of house churches around the Mediterranean basin and from southern Europe to North Africa. They work to train, counsel, and mentor the next generation of leaders there, with the hope of transforming the lives of refugee, immigrant, and transient populations through the encouraging message of the Gospel.

D and N live in a Southeast Asian area where their work for the Kingdom proves to be sensitive and potentially compromising. Both D and N strive to meet locals and build relationships, while running a fellowship for people to attend and learn about Christ.

They have many stories of people curious and excited about Jesus, and some have even chosen to be baptized. D and N’s work provides an opportunity for people to learn and grow in community. Both are working diligently to learn the written and verbal language so that they can better communicate the love of God with those who want to know more and those who have come to faith and want to go deeper.

D and D and their three children have been living in South Asia for the past decade as a part of Frontiers USA. The mission of Frontiers is to focus on regions of the world with the highest concentrations of unengaged people groups, where people have never met a follower of Christ.

They share the Gospel and engage people with the love of Jesus Christ. As a part of Frontiers, D and D catalyze movements of disciples and churches among many of these groups. Some of their work involves coaching a network of believers and churches among unreached denominational leaders and South Asian CEOs to mobilize, train, and coach the church to reach out to the millions of unreached neighbors they are proximate to.

Rob and Sandy both work for Jew for Jesus, a non-profit Messianic Jewish organization that seeks to share the message of Jesus as Messiah with Jewish people all around the globe. Rob meets with Jewish people who want to know who the Messiah is, while tackling challenging subjects, answering questions, and studying scripture together.

He also disciples Jewish believers on how to integrate their Jewish heritage with their faith in Jesus. Jews for Jesus hosts events throughout the year that celebrate Jewish traditions, explore the identity of Jesus, and build community. They also partner with churches to hold services and events where Christians can learn more about the Jewish roots of Christianity.

Mobilize Love reaches underprivileged children, youth, and families throughout San Francisco. Their fleet of outreach trucks provide a sidewalk after-school program for kids, meals for the community, laundry services, hair cuts, foot washings, nail services, and other health services.

Through these trucks, Mobilize Love is not only providing basic needs, but also restoring dignity, delivering good news, and showing God’s love to neighbors. Their programs include City Kids weekly outreaches, sending trained volunteers to follow up with families who need additional support, a 9 month mentorship relationship through their Mobilize Love Mentorship Program, and hosting their monthly Cityteam x Mobilize Love Community Outreach serving SOMA residents and the homeless.
